Sean’s brother, Paul (1938 - 2005) was a Dominican priest and he too was a wise and caring man. He was an author and taught theology, a man of compassion and kindness.

Both Sean and Paul died young; Sean a loss to the Irish legal world and Paul a loss to the Dominican Order.
