Boss of Aer Lingus holding company, IAG earns over €6.4m

Aer Lingus announced on Thursday they were shedding 500 of their 6,500 workforce. That figure includes 140 cabin crew, 70 pilots and 290 office staff.

Last year Aer Lingus made €282 million profit and its holding company, International Aviation Group (IAG) made a handy profit of €5 billion. 


Lynne Embleton, CEO of Aer Lingus earned  a bonus between €269k and €300k last year; her exact salary is undisclosed. 


Her boss, Luis Gallego, CEO of IAG, earned a total of €6.4 million in 2024.
