Jerry Brown, a two-time governor of California, was interviewed on BBC Radio 4 yesterday at 10.30. He quoted the above from Zen Buddhism when talking about the dangers of unbridled capitalism.

Brown comes across as a remarkable man, a man of the Christian faith and educated by the Jesuits.
