Giving people responsibility empowers and liberates them

Reading the Gospels it's so easy to miss things. Often right in front of our eyes there are gems and we seem to ignore them.

In yesterday's Gospel Mark tells the reader how the landowner gives repsonsibility to all his workers.

Responsibility is a liberating idea, giving someone responsibility empowers them.

And so often it's the last thing in the minds of the ruling elites.
