Has the Irish Government ever questioned the US government whether or not people for rendition transited at Shannon?
If not why not?

I think they did. That's not the problem. The problem is that they accepted USA assurances in response and hadn't the guts to inspect the planes.
That makes us morally guilty whether or not there were rendition subjects on the planes.
