Why did Tubridy praise Johnson for his TV appearance?

Yesterday morning Ryan Tubridy on his RTE Radio 1 programme complimented Boris Johnson for his prime ministerial broadcast on Tuesday evening, which aired on all UK media platforms on Tuesday evening.

While Johnson may not have been at his usual bungling buffoonery, he never once mentioned in his talk the importance of wearing masks, keeping social distance and washing ones hands.

Can anyone remember what he said?

Though he did wear a tie.
