Guns in the USA

While President Barack Obama takes on the NRA and tries to curb the number of shootings in the US a Texan bishop has said that it is 'not appropriate' to carry firearms to Mass.

Bishop Joseph Strickland said: I believe that openly carrying a weapon is not appropriate during the sacred liturgy and may understandably cause great discomfort to some of the faithful of the diocese.

A funny old world indeed a funny old US and a funny old church.
