Tucker Carlson’s long interview with Vladimir Putin

The link below is to a piece in Friday’s Guardian on the Tucker Carlson interview with President Putin on Thursday in Moscow.

It’s a friarly accurate account of the long history lesson.

It’s a pity the author uses the word lackey and there is no mention about how Putin described events between east and west after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Why did Carlson not ask Putin about the imprisonment of political opponents or why he has managed to prevent opposition to him in the upcoming elections?

Are Tucker’s facial gymnastics natural or theatre?

"Better to spend 100 hours negotiating for nothing than one minute shooting" is a famous quote from the previous German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt. This seems to have gone completely out of fashion these days. It looks as if only those who invest the most billions in the armaments industry are praised - just like Orwell: 'War is peace'
