Two Dominicans

Today is the feast of St Martin de Porres, who died in Lima in 1639.

The Dominican was canonised in July 1962.

Today is also the anniversary of the death of Irish Dominican John O'Gorman, who died in Limerick in 2002.

John was a kind and clever man.
