The hypocritcal priests who don't baptise

"In our ecclesiastical region there are priests who don't baptise the children of single mothers because they weren't conceived in the sanctity of marriage. These are today's hypocrites."
Archbishop of Buenos Aires Jorge Mario Bergoglio, now Pope Francis.

And all the nonsense that we have heard about not baptising children of unmarried mothers.

This is beginnng to look good.

And something else, note he is wearing more 'common sense' Mass vestments.

At a Mass in a Dublin church on Thursday the priest mumbled the words of Mass. Spent more time cleaning and fumbling with the chalice, bowing and genuflecting and there he was with his maniple and fingers joined. Not a word of reflection on the Gospel.

Might Pope Francis have a word or two on this phenomenon too? Because it is a sham.

A few days ago I was told of an interesting case; A couple in an Irish town approached a priest about getting married. When the prospective bride mentioned that she already had a six-year-old son, whom she would like to have involved in the ceremony, the priest demurred with the explanation that he could not work with them in a situation where a child who was the result of non-marital sex - and so a reminder of a sinful relationship - was actively involved in the solemn ceremonial act of celebration of the sacrament of marriage.

The couple decided not to have a church ceremony and instead celebrated a wonderful civil ceremony with family and friends ...

Good for them Francis Hunt.

I see Archbishop Martin is now talking out about the "funadamentalism" invading the Church.

Wow, what an epiphany. Has nothing to do with the new Pope's views.

He has an extraordinary facility to run with hare and hunt with hounds that lad.
