UK prime minister Andy Burnham was interviewed on BBC's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg yesterday.
He came across as a decent man, on top of his brief, a clever man, who has become prime minister to serve the people of the United Kingdom, at least that is what he said, and he gave the impression he means what he says.
He might well turn out to be a great Labour prime minister for the people of the UK. He might also be a friend to Ireland and the EU. He never wanted to leave the EU, but shortly before the referendum he saw that it could be lost.
