Some weeks ago Dublin City Council began erecting new concrete lampposts in Rathgar Village with the intention of removing the older metal lamp stands. The partly-erected three or four new lamp stands have been removed, no sign of them. Where are they, what's happened them? Who pays for this apparent inefficiency?
