No sign of the Russians in the Syrian skies or on the ground

As the rebels liberate Syria, the question must be, where are the Russians.

Just as in Afghanistan, where the US an allies where brushed aside like a whiff of smoke so now in Syria, no sign of the Russians, who supported  Assad.

Bashar al-Assad reported to have fled Syria as rebels say they have captured Damascus.
