Sinn Féin TD Eoin Ó Broin has said since the election results that “the outcome of the election is now clear” and that “the numbers are there for Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael to form a government together” which he said would be “the worst possible outcome for the people of the country”.
During the election campaign Deputy Ó Broin said that it would be the Irish people who would decide the next government.
In saying that "the worst possible outcome for the people of the country” is a government which has a majority of TDs, is the Deputy not being patronising and indeed, contradicting what he said in the days leading up to the election?
Why is Sinn Fein seen as a left wing party?
