Beso Kushtanashvili (18), a Muslim from Pankisi Gorge in Georgia died fighting in Syria.
His friends in Pankisi said many young people in their region are going to fight in Syria and Iraq.
"They are doing it for their faith and to die," one of his friends said.
They obviously "believe the time has come for ....... to be firmly challenged and opposed...."
The mix of religion, fanaticism, arrogance and pseudo-elitism is a terrible cocktail.
