Memories of other hostilities between Russia and Ukraine

 On this day, October 2, 1920 Mikhail Frunze, the People’s Commissar for Military  and Naval Affairs of the Soviet Union, ordered the Red Army immediately to cease hostilities with the Revolutionary insurgent Army of Ukraine.
