Hospital staff fill a truck heading for Ukraine

Staff in our hospital yesterday organised a collection of goods for the stricken people of Ukraine.

By late afternoon a large room in the hospital was filled with boxes and bags, all filled to the brim with merchandise for Ukraine.

Close to 6pm we began to fill a truck, which later left for a storage depot in the city.

One of the men, who arrived with the truck is from Ukraine. He’s a young man. We spent less than an hour loading and in that time there was not a word from the Ukranian. It was all work, fast work. What must he have been thinking, lifting those boxes on to the truck?

And while we were loading that truck, Russia, no not Russia, rather the mouthpiece of a dictator was telling the people of Kyiv to leave the city.

This is reprehensible and it must be stopped. How?
