Isn’t ironic that on this day in 1948 US President Harry S Truman signed the Marshall Plan, handing out $5 billion worth of aid to 16 countries.
Surprising no media outlet has picked up the significance of this on the day that’s in it with President Donald Trump castigating what all his previous post war US presidents have done.
