Ali's No to Vietnam

On June 28, 1970 Muhammed Ali, formerly known as Cassius Clay, stood before the United States Supreme Court regarding his refusal of induction into the US Army during the Vietnam War. 

Back then, while considered the world's greatest heavyweight boxer, he was looked upon as something of a political illiterate.

He was anything but. A wise and brave man. Had thousands of others taken his example the lives that could have been spared.
