Files of unanswered correspondence tell a terrible tale

The headquarters of the Dominican Order is at Santa Sabina in Rome.

Occasionally, maybe on a yearly basis, maybe every two years, Santa Sabina runs seminars and courses for groups within the order. Among the courses it runs are those for bursars, student masters, novice masters, vocation directors and provincials.

And all done at great expense and large dollops of carbon footprints.

External experts and members of the international leadership team address the groups.

Is it possible that on these courses/seminars the attendees are advised never to reply to emails, phone calls and letters?

A similar trend may also be a theme for those studying for MBAs. It seems recipients of MBAs, who are in 'leadership' positions can easily be of the opinion there's no need to answer the correspondence of the hoi polloi.

Certainly it can be a telltale sign of  dysfunctionality  within the organisation.

What was it that the late Fergal Quinn said?

'The customer is king'.

Wise words.

Oops and apologies. Certainly got it wrong there.
But yes, I meant hoi polloi, exactly as is written on the blogpost.
