It was special and heartwarming to see German Chancellor Angela Merkel at D-Day commemorations in Portsmouth today.

Maybe because there was no Red Army involvement at Normandy.
But interesting on the same day the President of Russian was hosting the Chinese Premier in Moscow.
It seems now that Mr Putin has issued a statment about not being invited, saying, 'no problem.
