Congratulations to the Irish Dominican website. News is now appearing on a regular basis. A vast improvement on what was the situation.
No great fan of many aspects of the philosophy of Michael O'Leary but full marks to him for advocating competition and criticism.

Sorry, can't help you.
As you may know this blog has nothing to do with the Irish Dominican website.
The website seems no longer to be dormant as it was for a long time. And that is good news.
But feel free to leave your comments re the Dominican website on this site. It could start a lively debate.
This blog is being read around the world. It is now read in 26 states within the US, the Vatican is a regular reader. It is read in 30 UK locations. It has hundreds of readers in Ireland.
www.michaelcommane.blogspot.com is read in 31 countries around the world.
It is a pity people remain anonymous. Anonymity has nothing to do with the mood of this blog. Indeed, ironically, part of the reason for the blog is to fight anonymity, especially 'clerical anonymity'.
Hopefully some day the full story will be told re the genesis of this blog. Work is in progress.
The patron patriot of the blog is that great Soviet soldier who ran Paulus out of Stalingrad and promised him he would see him in Berlin.
The odds were greatly stacked against Georgi Konstantiovich Zhukov.
Anyone interested in biking from that famous town on the Volga to Karlshorst in Berlin?
So, keep reading.
And of course Marshal GKZ ran Paulus out of Berlin and in these very days in 1945 he was triumphant in the German capital.
Paulus is often referred to as 'von Paulus'. The man's forename was 'Paulus'.
After the war he suffered at the hands of the leaders of the Soviet Union.
His daughters tell the great story of his life.
Alas, his troops did great harm in Berlin and the story is told in the book 'A Woman in Berlin'. Believe it or not, the author is Anonymous!
Apologies, 'Paulus' was the surname.
I have also noticed that the Dominican website doesn't have any link to the Lay Dominicans. It also seems to me that a section where members of the Order could share and debate issues pertinent to the Province would be welcomed by members. Obviously access to this section would be restricted to members of the Irish Province of the Dominican Order. Maybe the webmaster of Dominicanfriars.ie might take my suggestion on board?
The last comment here is most interesting and worth a follow up.
Thank you. Again, may I wonder why the anonymity?
michaelcommane.blogspot.com is very pleasant to read. The article is very professionally written. I enjoyed reading michaelcommane.blogspot.com. keep it that way.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
