Diarmuid Martin talks to Joe Duffy on ‘The Meaning of Life'

Archbishop Diarmuid Martin was interviewed by Joe Duffy in the first in the new series of 'The Meaning of Life' on RTÉ 1 at 10.30pm yesterday.

It’s well worth a watch on the RTÉ Player.

“When I went into Clonliffe it was miserable. It was a place far removed from reality,” - Diarmuid Martin.

He was advised by his dean in Clonfiffe not to talk to fellow students in UCD
