While darkness hides much, it erases nothing

US President Joe Biden spoke at Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday to remember the massacre that white mobs inflicted on black residents. The massacre took place on May 31/June 1, 1921.

President Biden is the first US president to speak in Tulsa to acknowledge the truth of what happened there.

During his speech he said: “While darkness hides much, it erases nothing”.

A great line and should give hope to anyone who is struggling against darkness and evil.

It is only when one meets evil and wrongdoing face-on that we realise the enormity and vileness of it.
