Bentiu in South Sudan

This is from a work colleague, received today. Bentiu is in South Sudan. An impressive Irish woman.

Dear Michael,
I have internet contact today so am trying to catch up. Hope all is well with you. Bentiu is everything people say it is. We have had terrible rains here so the camps are totally flooded. Spent the day wading in very dirty water visiting the feeding centres. The poor people, I have no idea where they get their resilience from.  People sleeping in chairs, taking turns in beds. In fact a lovely guy who manages our stores his wife had her baby in a flooded tent. Nature at its best.
