Bishop behaves like overthrown despot

The no-show behaviour of Bishop John Magee is what overthrown despots and dictators do.

In recent years it was generally accpeted that the Cloyne diocese was 'attracting' large numbers of vocations. And part of the lore was that they 'were wonderful young men'.

That phenomenon is not just happening in Cloyne.

Great sweeping statement there as usual Michael. Well done.

It is a fact that John Magee is hidden away somewhere.

It is also fact that vocations to priesthood in Cloyne were put forward as an example how it should be done.

Sweeping?

Vocations to the priesthood in Ireland these dats are a matter for wonder, in every sense!

Do significant numbers of vocations always mean the same thing? Or is it just wishful thinking?
