The catholic church is clearly at fault to an extraordinary degree in Cloyne. Kenny's comments, howev, are over the top and fail utterly to address the state's shortcomings. Gilmore and Bacik are using Cloyne as a pretext for attacking the church. One cannot even tr to defend the attack on the seal of confession without being tarred with the 'denial of the truth' brush as happened onnthus blog this very week.
