Vladimir Kara-Murza expresses his belief that Putin must fail

Vladimir Kara-Murza gave an interview to the BBC in Frankfurt yesterday.

He spoke about his days in solitary confinement, the loss of the sense of time and space and the great difficulty being isolated from other people.

He asked people not to look on this as an exchange of people but rather the saving of lives. “Is the saving of 26 lives not worth the return of one criminal?"

He expressed his belief, not as a journalist but at a historian, that Russian will be free, open and democratic but for that to happen Putin must be removed.

Kara-Murza said that for Putin to be removed Ukraine cannot lose the war.

The man, who was born in Moscow in 1981, is one of the greatest, if not the greatest prophetic people of our time.

"A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a moulder of consensus.”  Martin Luther King Jr.
