Is anything in our lives binary?

In conversation with someone in recent days they said they were asexual. The person is in middle age. They went on to say that their discovery and acknowledgement of the fact made them realise/believe there are many sexual variations.

The conversation on the subject is interesting and even highlighted by the current controversy at the Paris Olympics.

Is anything in our lives binary?

The person, who spoke about their realisation that they were asexual, is impressive, highly regarded among their peers for their skills and intelligence.

Sexuality is an area of great complexity. Is it that we are now beginning a journey of discovery?

Everything in our lives is nuanced, everything. And the more we learn about any subject, the more we realise how little we know about it.
