The Sky ad that has everything wrong about it

This ad is appearing on bus shelters across the capital.

Does it not tell a terrible story? Would or should Sky really be proud of this reality?

Is it not the perfect picture of a perfectly managed dysfunctional family?

An attempt to turn an obscene reality into normal family life?

1984 Everyone switched in to a barrage of propaganda and likely being monitored to boot. Should all be out playing football.

Cannot agree with your view of what is happening in the room..the father and son could be watching a match online or dad could be helping with his son's homework.. Mother is browsing for something to watch after a hard day at work and daughter could be about to call her grandmother who is ill, to see how she is feeling..
Perhaps in an other time they would all have been reading books in the same room, how is this any different, except for the technology.Yes I know it is a staged scene. I carry no brief for Sky TV in fact I abhor that company but we cannot make assumptions based on a simple photograph which has just caught a moment in time.
Just found the blog .i like the blog
