A shocking quip on smoking

Seán O'Rourke, talking to film maker Neil Jordan on his radio programme on RTE Radio 1 today, quipped when replying to Jordan, saying that he was back smoking a few cigarettes every day:

If I could smoke five-a-day I would.

Is that not shocking on a State-funded radio station?
