Bishop Robert Barron on his congressional experience

Below is a link to Bishop Robert Barron reporting on Facebook his experience attending President Donald Trump’s address to the joint session of Congress. He is also reporting on a Mass he celebrated with/for elected representatives.

Some days earlier the bishop shared a platform with Jordan Peterson at the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship conference.

The world of social media seems to be about publicity and populism. How would one critique Bishop Barron’s description of his evening on the Hill?

It would be interesting to know what his fellow US bishops think of his non-stop worldwide peregrinations.

It certainly is slick. But what’s to it all? What’s it actually about? And how does the bishop find the time to manage his diocese?
