Russian to continue his campaign from afar

Ilya Yashin was released in the recent prisoner swap that took place in Turkey. He was serving a 22 year sentence for speaking out on the Bucha massacre.

Now living on a temporary basis in a Berlin hotel he speaks to the Guardian.

Obviously a brave man. And hidden in the piece are lovely throw-away comments of so much of what we take for granted.
