No Tess in the hills

Views of Lough Dan as it appeared yesterday.

It was wet underfoot with attempted showers from time to time. Slight traces of snow on far-off hills.

Up to approximately a year ago Tess would have been in her element here, sniffing, swimming, chasing and enjoying herself.

For Tess it is now down to two short strolls every day.

It's sad. The way of the world and the route for all of us.

Tess is sorely missed as a walking companion in the hills.

Lovely images, but I'd say it was a chilly walk!
