John Monaghan RIP

People who come from a less salubrious background, where money is tight, are just as likely to be bright and capable of contributing to society as those who can afford to go to fee-paying schools run by  religious.

A comment made by the late Professor John Monaghan who was vice-president of St Vincent de Paul Society.

John Monaghan died on January 14 in his 74th year.
