'Marxism is a doctrine of individual liberation'

In The Irish Times yesterday Joe Humphries talks to former BBC Newsnight economics editor Paul Mason abbout his new book, 'Clear bright Future: A Radical Defence of the Human Being'.

Mason, the son of a coal miner will speak at O'Reilly Theatre, Belvedere College on Monday May 20 at 8pm. It is part of the International Literature Festival Dublin.

Mason says that all economic systems are temporary.

Real Marxism is full of answers about what to do in an age of climate chaos, machine control and the resurgence of fascism and anti-humanism, because, at root, Marxism is a doctrine of individual liberation.

- Paul Mason.
