The Wannsee Conference

Today is the 76th anniversary of the Wannsee Conference.

On January 20 1942 in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee German officials discussed and decided how to implement the 'Final Solution to the 'Jewish Question'.

Reinhard Heydrich chaired the meeting. Hitler did not attend.

The Wannsee building surrounded by villas and expensive homes is now a Holocaust memorial.
