Case of street angel house devil? Used to know priests like that.
There are comments in the current issue of The Tablet that may echo Michael's thoughts on the Ash Wednesday 'image' of Pope Francis. In a feature on this 'Root and Branch Reformer', Christopher Lamb calls Jorge Bergoglio 'perhaps a little dour and uncharismatic, but a tough, holy, no-nonsense Jesuit outsider...' He speaks of the hope among those who elected him Bishop of Rome in these terms: 'Perhaps he would not set the world alight, but he would quietly put the house in order.'
Thank you for your comment. Refreshing too that it's not anonymous.
Maybe Pope Francis is annoyed with the Dominicans.
Maybe he looked down and saw so many men all dressed in perfeclty ironed clothes and was saying to himself, what in God's name is going on here. And all lookng so pious and 'holy', then he began to think of the Gospel that had just been read.
Maybe Pope Francis goes to bed at night
and thinks about the 'monster' that has been created within the Catholic Church?
Surely if he gave up the pink shoes he must wonder at all those white socks. Remember, he's a Jesuit, smart man and can well imagine no time for humbug, spoof and nonsense.
Check out rorate caeli blog.
No doubt Pope Francis surley knows at this stage that no other organisation has as many closet homosexuals as there is in priesthood.
He must be aware of all the double talk and lies.
