BBC Radio 4's Sideways programme on Wednesday morning featured an interview with Dr Kate Bowler.
She is a Canadian academic and writer who works at Duke Divinity School.
On the programme she spoke about the history of the America Prosperity Gospel. She referred to her own cancer diagnosis and how people responded and related to her during her illness.
If you have the chance or the possibility of listening back to the programme it's well worth a listen.

But Bowler also is the host of the podcast Everything Happens with Kate Bowler, a product of Lemonada media.
She debunks so much of the words and attitudes we have towards people who are ill.
Kate Bowler has much to teach us.
