On this day, June 23, 2016 the people of the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union; the vote was close, 52 per cent to leave, 48 per cent to stay.
In those 10 years David Cameron, Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer have been prime ministers.
If Andy Burnham is the United Kingdom’s next prime minister, as seems most likely, he will be the first Catholic to move into 10 Downing Street.
Tony Blair became a Catholic after his premiership. Whether Boris Johnson was a Catholic at time of becoming prime minister is disputed. Mr Johnson is recognised as a world-class flip-flopper.
