Car rental group Hertz buys 100,000 Teslas

Car rental company Hertz has ordered 100,000 Tesla cars. The Tesla is the premium all electric car.

Tesla is the first car maker to be valued at $1tn. 

The new Hertz deal pushed Tesla shares up 12. 6 per cent and makes Tesla CEO Elon Musk worth $172bn.
