We can be so judgemental and hurtful to those whom we decide have failed and those who drift outside our self-made ideas of respectability.

And WE can be so hurtful to others by repeatedly failing them. The Irish bishops need to remember this as some of them intend to ordain to the priesthood totally unsuitable candidates.
