Fly Kerry to Berlin

Ryanair has announced a new twice-weekly service between Kerry Airport and Berlin Schönefeld.

The new service will begin in the 2017 winter timetable.

It's surprising that no airline has operated between Kerry and Berlin before this.

The not-yet-open Berlin Brandenburg Airport is now due to open in 2018.

The ariport was due to have been opened some years back but because of incompetence, corruprtion and politics Berlin has not yet got its 21st century airport.

The not-yet-open airport is close to Schönefeld and can be seen from the air when flying into the main airport of the former German Democratic Republic.

It was to Schönefeld that Gorbatschev flew on that famous occasion when he told the then GDR leader Erich Honecker 'wer zu spät kommt den bestraft das Leben' - life punishes latecomers.

The quote is incorrect and should be:
„Wer zu spät kommt, den bestraft das Leben“

Of course and thank you. The error has been corrected in the text.
But would 'bezahlen' not give it the same meaing? No, not quite. There is a difference. And anyway, best of all to quote the man correctly.
Again, thank you.
I wrote to Ryanair many years ago suggesting they fly Kerry Berlin.
