Indeed. Having spent many years teaching in post primary I have many close and good friends in the teaching profession. Great people, competent too.I was refused admittance to the ASTI becasue I was a priest. Surely that must have been in breach of some law.As a little boy in school I certainly 'suffered' at the hands of teachers.An unfortunate word for a teacher to use.
