At times the greatness of the play came through but far too often stereotypes seemed to dominate and as a result much was lost.
It's on this year's Leaving Cert and many students were in the theatre on Tuesday night. It would be interesting to ask them what they thought.
Do you not think you are being a bit harsh? I am not a soldier so I don't think that I would have the ability to say that all forms of military behaviour are cruel. Have you personal experience of cruelty in the military? I know a number of soldiers who would probably disagree with you.

Indeed, you may well be correct. It would have been more accurate to have said military foreign occupation.
